NBA TV’s Summer League policy — the first chance to see many of the NBA’s top rookies in actions — will comprise 50 live game telecasts at 13 days beginning Monday, July 1. The network’s program — such as live game telecasts from all three Summer League locations — will feature the expected first look at many of those 2019 NBA Draft course. The matchup between New Orleans Pelicans ahead Zion Williamson and New York Knicks guard-forward RJ Barrett — two of the top three picks in NBA Draft 2019 presented by State Farm — highlights the 11-day, 83-game schedule for MGM Resorts NBA Summer League 2019 in Las Vegas. Williamson and the Pelicans face Barrett along with the Knicks on Friday, July 5 at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Every MGM Resorts NBA Summer League match will air live on tv for the 2nd consecutive year, together with ESPN networks and NBA TV combining to televise a record number of matches. Williamson, the No. 1 pick in NBA Draft 2019 introduced by State Farm, yields on Saturday, July 6 to face Rui Hachimura along with the Washington Wizards in 10 p.m. ET on ESPN. Later that afternoon, the Atlanta Hawks, who picked Cam Reddish the 10th pick in NBA Draft 2019 presented by State Farm, will play with the Milwaukee Bucks at 5 pm ET on NBA TV. NBA TV’s on-site commentators at Las Vegas will consist of analysts Brendan Haywood, Caron Butler, Steve Smith, Isiah Thomas, Sam Mitchell and eight-time NBA All-Star Vince Carter, who will function as a guest analyst for the network for the fourth consecutive year. Matt Winer, Rick Kamla, Pete Pranica, Kristen Ledlow and Jared Greenberg will share play-by-play duties. Allie LaForce, Dennis Scott, Stephanie Ready, Ro Parrish, Ledlow and Greenberg will serve as reporters. NBA TV’s signature studio show, NBA GameTime, will feature live episodes following every day’s last match of the night, July 5-15, focusing on the most recent player moves and free agent buzz, also game highlights and news from Summer League. Casey Stern, Winer, Kamla and Chris Miles will rotate hosting duties, alongside analysts Wes Wilcox, Tony Delk, Rex Chapman and Antonio Daniels.
